Experience:  Bachelor of Science degree or a minimum of five years experience in sheet metal fabrication.

Responsibilities: Responsible to the Vice President of Operations for:

1. Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the company.
2. Directing and disciplining Quality Assurance personnel.
3. Recognizing problems with all processes and initiating solutions.
4. Maintaining ISO 9001-2015 certification.
5. Initiating preventative and corrective actions to correct current and subsequent issues.

Typical Duties

1. Oversee the quality program assuring conformity of purchased material and final products to quality standards.
2. Meet with vendors, customers, quality representatives, and company personnel to discuss and resolve quality problems as required.
3. Prepare and represent the company during all ISO and related audits.
4. Coordinate the approval of all sample submissions of new products and engineering changes.
5. Prepare all necessary reports as required by customers and staff personnel.
6. Provide training to company personnel as required.
7. Promptly respond to all phone messages and emails in a timely manner.

Expected Performance

1. Must be able to travel to accommodate customer needs with short notice.

3. Must be punctual and flexible with ability to cover needed overtime on short notice.
4. Understand and follow applicable company record keeping and quality procedures.
5. Maintain an acceptable rapport with all customers and their employees.

Training Requirements

1. GII Safety Program and other company related training.
2. Any training required to keep ISO certification up to date.
3. Training on any and all quality measuring tools and machinery.
